April 8th Close-up Rain Drops.

These are some of the photo's that I took when I went out on Sunday April 8th.  These photo's where taken while out one Sunday morning after it had been raining.  These are just extra photo's I thought I would take, it had been raining the night before so I thought I would  take the camera out and get some shots of the rain drop.

Photo's taken for course this weekend 17th 18th March close-up.

These are some photo's that I took during the weekend when I went to Calke Abbey and Lake Albert.  These were taken with the Sony 450 and the Nikon 200.  Both with the Macro lens fitted.

This was taken in my back garden and shows the blossom coming out.

This was taken on a wall at Calke Abbey, I like this as the flower is only 2mm and I had to get close to the subject.

This was taken at Calke Abbey and was on top of a wall.  Pleased with the shot as the flower is only about 5mm high.

This was taken close to where I live.  Just walking home from a walk a noticed this very colourful leaf.  This is a very colourful little bush and the colours are beautiful, and the drop of water that's on the leaf sets this shot up nice..

Planning for this weekend. 17th 18th March. Going too Monsal Head in Ashbourne.

This weekend I am planning to go to monsal head in the Derbyshire Peak district.  There are waterfalls and the old cotton mills plus a trail to walk and explore.  This wil depend on the weather as I really need some good light, but we will have to wait ans see. 


I ending up staying at home and going to Calke Abbey, which wasn't to bad as I was able to get some very nice shots locally as the weather wasn't  to bad around here.

This weekend I am planning to go to Calke Abbey and Stapenhill gardens.  Saturday was not the best of days but managed to go to Calke and get some images.  Sunday was a much better day and was able to get some good images.  Some that I have posted below.  All the images below are from Stapenhill Gardens

I have been a professional nature and landscape photographer for fourteen years. My career began straight after graduating from a degree in photography, following various courses in nature conservation. I now concentrate on stock photography, with The Getty Images acting as my main international agent. NHPA (Photoshot) and NaturePL market my natural history images and Robert Harding market my travel images. I am also represented by Britain on View (Photolibrary) and Alamy. In addition to this I market a library of over 150,000 35mm, medium format and digital images from my own office.
